12月15日在综合楼C座，201我院流动岗位特聘教授，美国西弗吉尼亚大学金融研究所主任周昆(K.Victor.Chow)教授来我院授课。

本次讲座Victor首先向大家介绍了西弗吉尼亚大学的历史及其优越的办学条件，在近一个多小时饱含激情的着重向大家强调做一个Professional Financial Analyst的重要性，他谈到金融分析师也需要和会计师、律师和医生一样professional。对于此，周昆教授给大家指引出如何走向职业金融分析师的方向，必须具备的素质和需要掌握的专业知识，有关CFA的三个等级以及相关课程，并介绍了从Tools到Asset Valuation再到Portfolio Management的过程。

16、17日两日，Victor还将对CFAW做更深入的介绍，希望同学们积极参加。

Dr. Chow teaches business finance, security analysis and portfolio management, banking firm management, and executive financial education. He is a researcher for portfolio and fund management, income distribution and taxes, stochastic dominance and statistical modeling, and Asian-Pacific financial markets. He also does financial consulting and planning for international investments and trades between theU.S., mainlandChina, andTaiwan.
